The most outstanding landscapes of the Andes that you cannot miss on your first visit to Mendoza. We start this trip along International Route 7, with the imposing view of the Potrerillos Dam, which surprises us after crossing the Cacheuta Tunnel.
Our next stop will be Uspallata. From the southernmost point of the Inca Empire, we head to the villages of Picheuta, Polvaredas, Punta de Vacas, and the old ski center Los Penitentes.
Further on, we will find the Puente del Inca, a rock formation that represents a natural bridge surrounded by hot springs over the Las Cuevas River. A few kilometers from there, located at 2750 meters above sea level, is the viewpoint of the colossus of America, Mount Aconcagua, which at 6962 meters above sea level receives visitors from all over the world with the desire to reach its summit.
Finally, we will arrive at the town of Las Cuevas, located at 3200 meters above sea level, to stop for lunch and visit one of the Authentic Towns of our country.
Between Las Cuevas and the international tunnel to Chile, there is a route that allows us to ascend to the Monument to Christ the Redeemer, only during the summer. This icon, located at 4200 meters above sea level, symbolizes the union between Argentines and Chileans, and from there you can enjoy one of the fabulous views of the mountain range at high altitude.
